Can I run and hide?

Just kidding, been waiting on my settlement from my car accident. Can't wait til' its over. On Thursday, Mike and I went to Sycamore/Dekalb to get his birth certificate. Well we had lunch at this really neat Chinese Restaurant (yes Mom it was good) and I got my fortune cookie. And you will never guess what it said? It read-----You're almost there. Ok I could of taken that one of two ways. The first thought to my mind was. That I should be getting my settlement soon. The second was I was really close to Rockford the place I lived for 5 years right after I got married. I loved that town. Coming from a smaller town and moving to the third largest city in Illinois was a big change. Let's just say, if you had to go anywhere you had to leave at least a half hour before your scheduled time. It is a very laid out city. I loved it there. And so close to Chicago, I loved the road trips to Chicago and to the suburbs. My favorite was Naperville. I don't know why. But going back to Rockford put alot of things in perspective for me. How much I missed that place. Alot of memories of my friends and the fire dept. I volunteered at, I started crying but stopped because of the new road they built right next to it. I am still in shock. Well I see a big change coming in the future. Whether it be a move to a warmer city or whatever may happen. I has to be positive for me. I will probably never move back to Rockford only because of the fond memories I had there. I know its not the same now.

I had a wonderful day today. Woke up bright and early and went to The Golden Corral had breakfast/lunch. Oh and Mom, Mike had a cinnamon roll and mentioned he wished he was there to torment you...evil little shit uh? Well before that we went to Hobby Lobby and I got more DMC Floss to make bracelets. I am making a special one for my Mom. I picked out some different colors for hers. She picked out some colors and I really didn't like em...lol. Just wait til' I am done with it. It will take me awhile cause I am trying some new things. Going on the road trip I made 3 different items. Yes alot of time to do something with my hands. I am in the mood of being creative. I want to make things. Tomorrow I am trying something else for a change. I want to make little teddy bears out of Sculpey clay or whatever its called. I don't think I will do that good though. I guess alot of playing will be going on. I can't believe I am still up writing all this. Its almost daylight savings time and I am going to miss an hour of sleep. How messed up is this? And of course Mike is building a house in his sleep...he snores just a tad. LOL. Well I am off to figure out what to do now. Since I am freakin' wired. Took a pain pill cause of the bad headaches I've been having. And it does a complete turn around for me. Takes the pain away but leaves me wide awake. Dam things. Oh well, will definitely post more later.
