Slow day...

Just a slow day, I am supposed to be painting today. But my Sister In Law is in town from Georgia and I haven't seen her in over 2 years. And she is expecting her second baby. She had Addison then less than 6 weeks later she was pregnant again and that was scary for her. They were following her condition since she had a hard time conceiving to begin with. It was a funny thing how it happened. They tried and tried for years to get pregnant and when they finally gave up. Came up here for a visit, she ended up pregnant. They were soooo estatic. Well she got pregnant less than 6 weeks after having Addison and they were concerned because one is was too soon after and two, her levels were off. She was 13 weeks along when she was going to the bathroom and heard a clump in the toilet. She was very shaken and upset. She took it much better than the rest of us. I talked to her today about it, and come to find out. The baby was missing one of the main chromosomes and it was going to be a down syndrome baby. She surprised me in saying, it was God way of saying, he needed the baby more than she did. She is so cool about it, I cried cause we knew what it was. It reminds me of my Baby Bro and his Girl. They recently went thru this. I was very upset. My Brother called me crying his eyes out and I didn't know what to say. I was floored. I still think about it but I know the Angel Baby is in heaven looking over us.

Steffanie, I think your the sweetest thing and I mean that. We don't get to talk much, but the time we do, I cherish. Your one strong tough cookie and you have a heart of gold. Thank you for loving my Brother and for my handsome nephew!!!!
